If you've ever opened five different cinema websites just to answer “Where and when can I watch a great movie this week”, ShowtimesUAE was built for you.

We're an independent cinema guide created by real filmgoers. Here in our cosmopolitan UAE, we're spoiled for choice: the same week brings a major Hollywood release, a Hindi blockbuster, an Arabic premiere, or a Malayalam or Tamil opening. We have the benefit of dozens of cinema locations, formats, and experience tiers to choose from.

Until now, that meant repeatedly switching between cinema apps and websites to plan film nights with friends and family. This site is our attempt to make that small part of living here easier, whether you're looking for an IMAX screening in Dubai, a Platinum experience in Abu Dhabi, or a late show in your preferred language close to where you live.

We bring listings from cinema operators across the Emirates and global movie ratings into one place, making it easy to find the showtimes you want by language, genre, format, experience tier, screening days, cinema chains, and locations.

When you choose a screening, we send you to the cinema operator's official website to check availability and prices and complete your booking. ShowtimesUAE does not sell cinema tickets.

Coverage

We currently cover major operators including VOX, Reel, Novo, Roxy, Star, Cine Royal, Cinemacity, 369 Cinemas and Cinemax.

Our coverage spans the seven Emirates and Al Ain, with films in English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Tagalog, Punjabi and other languages.

How we compile listings

We collect publicly available information on showtimes and ratings and enrich it into a consistent, easy-to-use UAE-wide guide. Film information such as synopses, credits and artwork may also be supplemented using licensed or attributed third-party sources, including TMDB.

Our listings are refreshed regularly, but cinema schedules can change at short notice. The official booking page is always the final source for availability, formats, pricing and ticketing.

Automation helps us cover a large number of showtimes, but we also review data regularly. Given the UAE's uniquely cosmopolitan make-up and incredible cinema coverage, this is no mean feat – alternative English namings of regional-language films, incorrect cinema or location names, expired and conflicting showtimes, and incorrect languages, formats or booking destinations can all occur – but we felt this market deserves as clean and trusted a dataset as possible. If a record doesn't meet our confidence checks, we'd rather leave it out than publish information we can't stand behind.

We try to automate data correction as much as we possibly can, but this community is great to have – we'd love your corrections and suggestions if you spot any, so we can keep building automated fixes around them.
